HOOORAY! Finally, here's the contest!

Who to draw

It's not original, i know, buuut.. my characters! Choose anyone you like - Yunna, Tavi, Anga, Allisto, Kifu, Ramani, Mitende or Wao. They all live here - shimiart.deviantart.com/galler….

You can draw one of them, or a few or them, or even them all if you want, however, that's not necessary xD. Your entries won't be judged by the amount of characters you've drawn.

Please draw them as lions only.

PLEASE DO NOT AGE THEM. This means that if Ramani, for example, is drawn as adult, you shouldn't draw him as cub.

If you're going to draw some of them together (again, that's not necessary at all), you may want to know something about their relationship:
- Wao is Tavi's father. His mate (Tavi's mom) died right after Tavi's birth.
- Yunna is Tavi's mate. They are nearly the same age. They obviously don't have children yet.
- Mitende is Ramani's mate. Their daughter is baby Zira.
- Yunna, Kifu and Allisto are Kiara and Kovu's children. Yunna is one age older than Kifu (she's a teenager when he's a cub), Kifu is as old as Allisto, though Allisto looks smaller.

Theme

It's winter, and everyone keeps drawing snow and ice and stuff like that.. I've thought we need something warm. So maybe.. lions in their warm den? Or a lion basking in the sun? And you don't have to keep it natural - i mean, feel free to draw a lion wearing a warm scarf, it's absolutely okay with me xD Just be creative!

What Is NOT Accepted

- Using bases.
- Traced/recoloured/stolen art. I've seen A LOT OF art on dA and TLKFAA. If your entry is a stolen/recoloured/traced art, i will find it out immediately just by looking at your artwork. And even if you credit the artist, or even if artist gives you permission to do this, I WON'T ACCEPT YOUR ENTRY, sorry. I don't support art thieves.
- My characters being tortured or killed.
- Violence, pornography and stuff like that.
- Anything which is against dA rules.

Also

- I don't judge by the amount of entries/characters you've drawn
- You can make several entries if you want to.
- Drawing my chars with canon chars of TLK/other Disney movies is absolutely okay :]
- Anthro is accepted.

Deadline

You've got more than 6 WEEKS, hope that's enough :] If not, feel free to tell me, i'll extend it.
The contest ends 31.01.2013.

Judgement

There will be three places and probably some honorable mentions.
Your entries will be judged by:
- Your creativity. Try to show me some cool ideas :]
- Your art skills. It's an art contest, i can't fully ignore this point. You don't have to have perfect art skills. No one is perfect, obviously. But please put some effort in your entry - that's the most valued thing for me.
When the contest ends, i'll make a poll so everyone can vote for their fav entry. Then i'll make a decision and announce the winners.

1st Place:

- 1 Fullbody with shadows and bg picture of your OC/fursona (if you don't have one, i can draw some canon chars or just a random lion) drawn by me.
